STUDY MARYLAND RECRUITMENT MEETING

Check your email! We’re planning to meet in mid-September to review a membership survey, discuss recruitment priorities, and identify a core Recruitment Committee to lead Study Maryland initiatives.

NAFSA REGION VIII CONFERENCE

NAFSA’s Region VIII includes Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and the regional conference will take place in Lancaster, PA in November. Our President, Rachel Scholten, will present a session with US Commercial Service and the Study Pennsylvania state consortium on “The Study State Advantage: Local Collaboration for Global Impact.” We hope to see many of you there!

NAFSA ANNUAL CONFERENCE SAN DIEGO

MIEC will once again be part of the USA: A Study Destination pavilion in the NAFSA Expo Hall for the 2025 conference, May 27-30, 2025 in San Diego! We will be exhibiting along with 11 other Study State Consortia in the pavilion. We will also be participating in the Embassy Circles event the same week, organized by US Commercial Service.
